  • Deputy is a robust rostering and payroll system.
  • Sections for tracking employee training and keeping documents safe.

It’s expensive, as you pay per active user and there is a base charge as well. It adds up quickly!

The app is easy to use and helpful but the bugs need to be addressed.

  • The news feed feature in Deputy is very helpful and is an innovative idea for a time tracking app.
  • There are a lot of bugs in the app.
  • In the ‘people’ section, not everyone in the organisation shows up.
  • No filter feature—some staff just randomly don’t show in the list.
  • Sometimes calculates the time of the shift incorrectly.
