Digital Directions partnered with PKF Melbourne to deliver a dual-track project: configure and deploy their HRIS platform while designing and launching an automated data integration with their payroll system—all within a single project completed in less than 120 days.
We led the full configuration of PKF’s new HRIS, building out processes for onboarding, employee lifecycle changes, leave management, compliance documentation, and more—aligned to their internal structure and governance needs.
Using Workato as middleware, we built a custom integration to ensure core employee data (new starters, changes, terminations) flowed cleanly and securely between HR and payroll—minimising risk and eliminating duplicate entry.
We partnered closely with internal HR and finance stakeholders to ensure the system rollout was seamless. This included structured training, communications planning, and onboarding resources for both employees and managers.
Given PKF’s industry, it was critical to ensure all workflows and integrations were auditable, secure, and compliant from day one—something we prioritised in both the system setup and integration design.
By project close, PKF Melbourne had successfully launched their first modern HRIS and fully integrated it with their payroll system—transforming their people operations in one coordinated rollout.
