Very satisfied with the latest version and appreciate the transparency provided for all users across the workforce from planner to user to performance review teams. The interactive aspects within the modules do help to improve engagement with the content (I just wish we had more of these to pick a lot).

Has come a long way in the past few years from both the user and staff managers. It was a dread in the past and now it provides a valuable and easy to use tool. This latest version has given me the inspiration to consider how this may be better used to facilitate the training of graduate students.

It would be interesting to have a “your might like” or optional courses section that employees who might be looking for areas to grow in can elect to do optional training – for example in a university context a person from one of the Arts disciplines might like to learn more animal care and ethics and thus to do that module.

Very happy with the software and the service offered by ELMO

The implementation was seamless and the staff at ELMO go over and above to ensure you get the most out of the system. We have gained the most benefits out of the Onboarding, Learning & Performance modules.

Some limitations in the rostering software but ELMO are very proactive in continually developing and improving the software.

Alternatives Considered: Cognology and Employment Hero

Reasons for Choosing ELMO: ConnX was unable to support our growth as a business.

Found the reporting in Sage to be limited and also wanted one fully integrated HR and PAYROLL system.

Switched From: Protractor and ConnX

Reasons for Switching to ELMO Software: ELMO offered a complete solution and the pricing was very good for the service being offered.

There are few redeeming features about ELMO Payroll. It appears to have been well developed by the run using 3rd party payroll system most likely from USA.

Features that are critical are at least developing such as reports; from which to compile a general ledger payroll journal for uploading an accounting system; transaction to be included in the pay period of termination reports rather than being able to produce an “extra” pay period; the conversion from existing to new system was as bad as could possibly get in terms of communication with ELMO; manual data entry when uploading files fails and inconsistency with client entitlements computation – ELMO updates annual leave days and long service leave – in hours – so what happened ???
